This amphibious plane known as "Albatross" was originally used by the Red Cross to supply an area of Africa inhabited by the Katanga people from whom the plane gets it's name. The name was kept for the fun of it and we carried the African theme throughout. This private plane was used in the US and in the Bahamas.

Keeping the original seats, we reupholstered using African mud-cloths and Kuba cloths for the chairs, and Springbok fur for the arm rests.

This bench folds up into bunk beds. The side tables have feature wood inlay with African animals.

Even the cockpit has the African theme. It also has seats for an engineer and a navigator that have cubbies for rolled up maps in order to find your way around the African jungles and following rivers (before GPS).

Pewter handles and knobs were sourced from Africa. On this sink water comes out of the turtles' mouth.

This seat has an extending table, phone, headset to talk to the cabinet and a dome window you can fit your head out to see directly down in order to spot rivers or roads and find your coordinates.
