The Maison family has incorporated years of experience from around the world in careers spanning, from architecture, interior design, furniture art and antiques, all of which are embedded in these four spaciously laid-out, fully independent, truly boutique homes where every detail has been considered down to custom light switches, artful knobs and whimsical faucets.

About the Location and Surroundings:  There is one entrance on and offthe Peninsula de Marau making it secluded and secure. The Peninsula is rumoured to be Brasil's next Trancoso, a growing choice of natural foods are available in the nearby village of Algodones. there are several natural reefs nearby for great diving. The trendy village of Barra Grande with its sand streets at the top end of the peninsula offers a growing amount of restaurants, bars, pousada, and amenities include hours farries and tours of the bay. The Baia de camamu that spreads down the west side of the peninsula and that Fazenda Maison backs onto is Brasil's third-largest bay with several fishing villages spread on its dozen-plus islands traditional wood boats are available for tours of the islands with seafood restaurants on some islands and the waterfall (one of the worlds only waterfalls into saltwater allowing boats to place the bow directly into the waterfall)  the Cacao plantations around the bay can be visited and make a lovely rainforest backdrop to the bay and its extensive mangroves.
